Architecture and Building Surveying
The arches are situated along Paradise Row within the area known as “The Civic Quarter”. Paradise Row is a cobbled street which has visibility from Bethnal Green Underground station and views across gardens to Bethnal Green Park and beyond.
RKG were appointed for GRIP Stages 1-8 relating to the preparation of design, planning, detailed drawings and specification of works, Tender, site supervision and contract administration.
Refurbished arches provided 6 no. high class retail units with external forecourt seating areas within the constraints of the conversation area. RKG arranged and hosted regular formal site meetings, managed project finances and all contract variations.
Works were completed for a contract value of £1.3M.
