In addition; new DDA facilities including, lower height ticket counters and new lifts and stairs to both raised platforms.
Earlsfield Station is one of the busiest small stations in London, experiencing huge volumes of passenger flow during peak hours. This exciting project included the complete demolition of the existing station building and erection of a new 275m² zinc clad concourse, featuring a sweeping roof and part glazed entrance facade. New access facilities successfully improved passenger access and flow, as part of continued station improvements under The Governments ‘Access for All’ (AfA) scheme.
RKG developed the scheme from initial concept design feasibility studies through to construction detail drawings and were further retained by the contractor for construction phase technical support.
